New York Headhunter Names Partner For Americas Wealth Management Practice

David Barrett Partners, an investment and wealth management executive search firm, has hired Conor Hourigan as a partner in its New York office. He will work in the wealth management sector across the Americas with an initial focus on the US. Hourigan joins Barrett from a specialist wealth management search boutique where he concentrated on the US market. He was previously a member of the asset and wealth management practices of Russell Reynolds Associates and Armstrong International. He began his career with State Street Global Advisors. The target field includes private banks, wealth managers, family offices, RIAs and trust companies as well as start-up and established boutiques. “In 2011 the market is showing strong signs of improvement as senior management returns to leadership hiring, especially in the product groups that are being rebuilt in addition to regional and sales management roles,” said David Barrett, head of the firm.
